Florence Welch had to have emergency surgery last week and therefore her band Florence + The Machine canceled the performance at Lowlands. The singer does not say why she had to go under the knife, but emphasizes that the operation “saved her life”.
The 36-year-old British singer promises that the next performances from her Dance Fevertour will continue. At the beginning of September, the band will be on stage in Lisbon and Málaga. “Maybe I shouldn’t jump so much, but you can do that for me.”
The performances of Florence + The Machine at Lowlands and the Belgian Pukkelpop earlier this month were cancelled. The British band then announced that it had taken the decision on doctor’s advice.
