The Indonesian island of Sumatra was hit by floods and landslides. So far, 21 people have been killed. Six people are still missing, a rescue services official said.
Heavy rains have caused landslides and flooding in Pesisir Selatan district, West Sumatra province. More than 75,000 people had to seek shelter in temporary shelters.
Rescue work will continue on Sunday, the official said. The authorities focus on three zones. About 150 people take part in the operations. The regions affected by landslides remain difficult to reach, it also sounds.
