Strong gusts of magnitude 7 to 9 have appeared in Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung. It is expected that the wind will gradually become stronger tonight, and there may be a strong gust of level 11. Although the typhoon is gradually moving away, the rainfall in the eastern half of the region still continues. In the past hour, the rainfall has exceeded 60 millimeters. Hualien has issued a heavy rain warning.
