EFlooding of the Machland on the Danube in Ardagger is expected. The early warning level was reached on Saturday morning. The highest level is forecast for Sunday morning, reports Ardagger’s mayor Hannes Pressl.
On the Schatzkastl staircase path directly on the Danube, a water level of around 45 centimeters (approx. 230.45 above sea level) is expected. It is also assumed that the water will remain standing a little longer – i.e. create a shallow flood wave. “Of course everything depends on how the rain continues,” says Pressl.
