Social network users in Saudi Arabia have released video clips and images said to belong to a residential project east of the capital, Riyadh, which showed it sinking into the water due to the rain wave in the Kingdom.

For its part, ‘Wafi’, which is the authority authorized to issue licenses for the sale of off-plan property units in Saudi Arabia, and is affiliated to the Saudi Ministry of Housing, said it was “closely monitoring all projects authorized by it to ensure the safety of rain and torrential drainage therein.”
And he explained in a tweet via Twitter that he had “monitored damage to one of the East Gate project neighborhoods,” noting that he had “formed a specialized team to urgently shut down the site and deal with rain drainage.”
