Flooding at Angers Saint-Laud Station Disrupts SNCF Traffic: Updates and Diverted Routes

They were announced but always surprise as they can be violent. A heavy storm caused the flooding of Angers Saint-Laud station. SNCF traffic is disrupted.

Bad weather disrupts SNCF traffic near Angers. The tracks are partly flooded near the station as reported by the @TERPays2LaLoire account.

The SNCF specifies that it is now necessary “wait for total recession” so that traffic can resume in full.

At the time of publication, traffic is partially interrupted.

SNCF has chosen to divert TGV traffic to Paris towards Rennes. TGVs from Paris will pass at speed “ultra reduced when approaching Angers station”, while waiting for a return to normal.

Traffic should resume normally around 11 a.m.
