According to a news bulletin released by the agency, preliminary rainfall estimates for the past 12 hours indicate that western sectors and parts of the San Juan metropolitan area received between four and five inches of rain.
The weather agency had warned of possible minor flooding in low-lying and poorly drained areas, as well as roads running near bodies of water due to heavy rain.
