Frets. The anger in the voices of the 20 or so citizens who met in Hunnebrock on Saturday morning was clearly audible. After the heavy rain in the early evening of June 5, they suffered damage, which in individual cases mostly amounted to several tens of thousands of euros. In some houses drying devices have been running permanently for three months – sometimes with moderate success. One family is even threatened with moving out temporarily because the moisture has crept deep into the walls. Some break their voices when they talk about their current living conditions …
