The trial in the murder case of Brigadier N Yosua Hutabarat with the accused, the former Head of the Propam Polri Division Freddy Sambo et al entered the final round. During the trial process, a number of Sambo’s former subordinates cried and became angry because they felt they were being used by Sambo.
The murder of Brigadier Yosua took place at Ferdy Sambo’s official residence in the Duren Tiga Complex, South Jakarta, Friday (8/7/2022). This case was once referred to as a shooting shoot-out between Sambo’s aides, namely Yosua and Bharada Richard Eliezer.
It is said that the shooting started with allegations of harassment by Yosua against Sambo’s wife, Putri Candrawathi. The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, then formed a special team to uncover this case, which was also of concern to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Finally, it was revealed that there was no shooting or harassment at Ferdy Sambo’s official residence. The events that took place were suspected of premeditated murder.
The police also named five people as suspects in the premeditated murder of Yosua, namely:
1. Ferdy Sambo
2. Princess Candrawathi
3. Bharada Richard Eliezer
4. Bripka Ricky Rizal
5. Ma’ruf is strong.
All five have been tried. During the trial process, a number of Sambo’s former staff members cried because they felt that they were being used by Sambo and had to be given ethical sanctions or be charged with a crime. Kombes Susanto cried
Kombes Susanto Haris cried in the courtroom when Chairman of the Panel of Judges Wahyu Iman Santoso asked whether Susanto was also locked up and tried on a code of ethics because of this case. Susanto confirmed this.
“Patsus 29 days and 3 years demotion,” said Susanto in the trial for the murder of Yosua with the defendants Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (6/12/2022).
Susanto is not a suspect in this case. Susanto also said he was disappointed because he did not expect it Freddy Sambo, who was a general, had the heart to lie to himself. Susanto said Sambo had destroyed his career which had been built for decades.
“Disappointed, annoyed, angry, how come the general is lying, how come the general has the heart to destroy his career, my 30 years of service have been destroyed at the lowest point of my service, not to mention the others, great members of the South Jakarta Metro Police, sir, imagine we are the usual Head of Legal and Legal we are questioning the naughty police,” said Susanto.
Susanto said that it was as if Sambo did not respect him at that time, even though Sambo always held the principle of respecting seniors. This, said Susanto, happened when he was ordered to secure evidence in the form of a gun to shoot Yosua at Duren Tiga’s house.
Susanto said Sambo gave orders in a high tone. Susanto was also annoyed with Sambo’s attitude at that time.
Ferdy Sambo apologized to Susanto. Sambo claims he has never disrespected his seniors.
“I want to respond to Bang Santo, I’m sorry, I have never disrespected seniors,” said Ferdy Sambo in response to Santo’s testimony at trial.
