Eva van Dongen (Angela Schijf) and Floris Wolfs (Victor Reinier) must join forces to catch the murderer who chopped Jacqueline into pieces. That will be a major challenge, Wolfs believes, because: “Half of the Netherlands hates that person, they can drink her blood.”
The trail soon leads to Robert Stolk (Johnny Kraaijkamp Jr.), a businessman with political ambitions who has a lawsuit about libel and slander that same week, where Jacqueline did not show up. His assistant and daughter-in-law, played by Bertrie Wierenga, also knows how to name his alibi.
Interesting detail: the detectives discover that the juice vlogger has a spicy hobby in her SM basement. And that leads Eva and Wolfs to an ex of Jacqueline, who once reported abuse after she had beaten him ‘half to death’ with handcuffs. Eva nevertheless does not believe that he is the perpetrator, but who does? Spoiler alert: GTST-viewers won’t believe their eyes…
‘Henk’ and ‘Shanti’ are spotted kissing and that turns the whole thing upside down. In short: an eventful episode, in which the writers imaginatively played away with reality. According to Yvonne, the character of the juice vlogger was initially going to be called Yve Derksen, but that would be a little too close to reality, as she shared in her Instagram Stories this week.
