Around ten employees on strike at Air Antilles at Aimé Césaire airport in Lamentin. They denounce the new provisions requested by their management and declare to be in a precarious situation since the health crisis linked to Covid-19.

At the call of the SNPNC union (national union of aircrew), ten Air Antilles employees have been on strike since this morning (Monday, February 1, 2021) in front of their company’s premises, at Aimé Césaire airport in Lamentin.

Flights are not canceled but take off with delay.

They denounce the working conditions requested by their management.

Management asks us to remove our 13th month over a two-year period and return 15 days off. We have proposed to give back half of the 13th month and give back 5 to 10 days of leave but that is not enough for them.

Mélissa Germé. SNPNC union representative.
