The companies Evertsen Bouw from Zwolle and Van Pijkeren Bouw from Ommen are taking over Hette Bouw from Marknesse, which has been declared bankrupt. They founded the Flevo Bouw consortium for the takeover. This is evident from the bankruptcy report of the trustee. The two construction companies pay nearly 183,000 euros for the company.
Hette Bouw was in the news some time ago, because the bankruptcy duped more than 100 home buyers in Flevoland. Some houses still had to be finished and construction still had to start for other houses. Because Hette Bouw was affiliated with the Woningborg insurer, the houses are still being finished.
Building projects Almere
The bankruptcy report states that the construction company made a modest profit of more than 160,000 euros in 2018. The following year Hette Bouw suffered a loss of almost 2.9 million euros. According to the director, this was due to a number of construction projects in Almere, writes Flevoland broadcaster.
The municipality of Almere decided to freeze construction and the project developer seized Hette Bouw’s bank account. The project developer then called on the buyers not to transfer the construction terms to the construction company. Because of all the problems, no more money came in at Hette Bouw and bankruptcy was inevitable.
