Fleurance. Municipality: two newcomers to the communication department

Two new recruits have just joined the communication department: Sophie Lagar, communication officer, and Sybille Clemente, communication assistant.

At the head of the department, Sophie is in charge of developing and implementing the internal and external communication strategy. Sybille takes care of the design aspect with, among other things, the creation of visuals and media of all kinds. A job creation was more than necessary to strengthen this much-sought service. Indeed, communication plays a growing role within local authorities, whether it is there to inform its users, but also and above all to ensure the link between the Town Hall and the Fleurantines and Fleurantins, or to promote the city of Fleurance. thanks to its cultural, associative and festive programming.

Under the direction of the mayor’s office, the two agents of the “com” service work in pairs on the management and updating of digital tools (city website, social networks, digital screens); drafting the municipal bulletin and press releases; the graphic creation of visuals for various media (posters, flyers, brochures, etc.), through the organization of municipal events such as ceremonies of wishes or new arrivals (in collaboration with the departments concerned), but also communication internally with municipal agents, without forgetting unexpected or last-minute requests…

Thanks to Sybille’s technical skills and Sophie’s organizational skills, the communication department is now better equipped to respond, as much as possible, to the needs of the municipality, the communal services, but also of Fleurantine life.

The communication team is supervised by the chief of staff, Franck Barthet, and Gérard Salon elected in charge of communication and security, deputy mayor Ronny Guardia-Mazzoléni.
