Fleurance. Ethiquable opened its doors to around fifteen job seekers

To remedy the difficulties in the agri-food industry sector, Pôle emploi and its partners organized the Agri-Food Industry Careers Week (IAA) from November 6 to 10. 38 Pôle emploi agencies deployed 63 “IAA” actions in Occitanie. The town of Fleurance was involved with the company Ethiquable.

Co-director Rémi Roux explains what it was about: “It was a special recruitment day with Pôle emploi, because we are going to open 3 positions next month in production at the chocolate factory. There are around fifteen candidates who came. We first showed them around the chocolate factory; then they did speed dating with Amandine Chaillou, recruitment manager, and Maxime who works in the production workshop. This allows us to be able to work with a real pool of candidates, we take the time to present the company to them, we go much further. Already when we opened the chocolate factory, Pôle emploi helped us a lot, with a whole process to better recruit.”

And to continue: “For us it is also an opportunity to explain what the Scop (Cooperative and Participatory Society) is. We do not work for financiers, the company belongs to its employees. There has profit-sharing agreements, participation, a 13th month…”
