Initially, the Errera House was mainly used for ceremonial matters, but at the beginning of last year Prime Minister Jan Jambon (N-VA) decided that the councils of ministers would be held there from now on. The 18th-century building is the official residence of the Flemish government and Jambon wanted to upgrade it that way.
