The result of the high workload due to flooding in the region, a shortage of men at the emergency center in Leuven and a new computer system. According to zone commander Tom Van Esbroeck, the residents of the municipalities within the zone do not have to panic, but there is criticism in the barracks. “Suddenly taking five ambulances out of service is quite a lot.”
