Flemish actor Michel Van Dosselaere (73) passed away | Stars

entertainment">Van Dosselaere had been suffering from a rare form of progressive aphasia for seven years, a brain disorder that caused him to gradually lose his ability to speak and also deteriorate physically.

entertainment">The actor is best known to the general public for his role as Commissioner Roger De Kee in the police series Aspe, which was also broadcast in the Netherlands. He also played various smaller roles in Dutch series such as From God Lose, Girls of the Wit, Grijpstra & De Gier in Then Happiness Was Very Ordinary.

entertainment">Van Dosselaere was also active as a director and played in various theater performances during his career. His last role was in 2016, in the performance Bail of the Noord Nederlands Toneel.
