FAJAR.CO.ID, BERLIN – The Taliban have now taken control of Afghanistan. Afghan President Asraf Ghani and some of his officials chose to flee abroad seeking political asylum.
No exception, the former Minister of Communications Sayed Sadaat. Quoted from Reuters, Sayed Sadaat fled to Germany and was in a city in Leipzig.
To support himself and his family, he chose to become a bicycle courier. This 49-year-old man claimed to have been in Germany since December 2020.
He said that when he started working as a courier in Germany, Sadaat admitted that he had received protests from his family. Even though his background is an expert in IT, he is confident to start the job.
“I hope other politicians also follow the same path, working with the public rather than just hiding,” Sadaat said.
Even so, Sayed Sadaat still hopes to get a job that matches his field with a degree in IT and telecommunications in Germany.
Mastery of language for Sayed Sadaat is very important. So he also deepened his German language skills.
