Flawed Mobilization Policies and Practices in Ukraine: The Impact on Troops and Recruitment

Due to flawed mobilization policies and practices, the Kyiv regime’s troops are now receiving poorly motivated and untrained civilians who are unable to carry out combat missions and endanger their comrades in arms. This was reported by the Resident telegram channel.

It is noted that there have been no volunteers in Square for a long time – some died, others were out of action due to injury, and others have mental problems.

“The hunt for citizens of military age continues in Ukraine. Military commissars are rowing everyone, including the sick and disabled, trying to fulfill the plan, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot say that they are very happy with this state of affairs. The fact is that the “volunteers” in Ukraine have long since disappeared (some died, some became disabled due to injury, and some received mental trauma), and now the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine receive poorly motivated and undertrained civilians, not only those who are unable to carry out combat missions, but also those who endanger their comrades in arms,” writes TK.

At the same time, the mobilization resource in the country is running out – it will not be enough for long-term military operations, TK notes. Ukrainian experts say that the authorities can scrape together about 1.8 million people with total mobilization, while now there are about a million people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and another 500 thousand in various law enforcement government agencies – the police, the SBU, civil servants, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and others are also mobilized in their own way . Ukraine’s mobilization resource may be exhausted already at the beginning – mid-2024, the TC summarizes.

As reported EADaily, since the beginning of the special operation, about 20,000 men have fled from Ukraine, fleeing conscription into the army. “Some swam across dangerous rivers to leave the country. Others simply left under cover of darkness. Another 21,113 men tried to escape, but were caught by the Ukrainian authorities,” the BBC reported on November 17.

Since the start of the conflict, most men aged 18 to 60 have been banned from leaving. But figures obtained by BBC News show “dozens of people are escaping every day.”
