Flamine Alary is appointed Director of Operations of the Digital Health Consortium

The Université de Montréal Digital Health Consortium has a new Director of Operations. Taking office on December 19, 2022, Flamine Alary will oversee the management of the Consortium’s human and financial resources, in addition to ensuring the proper functioning of its various projects and partnerships. She succeeds Camille Tremblay, who held the position since 2019.

Flamine Alary has a long track record. Holder of a doctorate in cognitive sciences, Neurosciences option, from the University of Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Brain Research Unit of the Helsinki University of Technology and at the Center for Research in neuropsychology and cognition from UdeM. She then oriented her career towards management and administration, acquiring solid experience, particularly within federal and provincial health research funding agencies. Her expertise has allowed her to hold the positions of research coordinator at the Research Center of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal, project manager at the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé as well as partner and project manager. at the Institute of Aging of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

As Director of Operations of the Digital Health Consortium, she will be responsible, among other things, for budget planning and management, hiring staff and their professional development, as well as maintaining and establishing various partnerships. Representing the Consortium with provincial, national and international organizations, she will also be called upon to collaborate with UdeM departments to ensure the integration of institutional practices and processes and will advise the members of the Consortium’s management on the strategies to adopt. related to unit issues. “The arrival of Flamine Alary coincides with the establishment of several activities that will concern all of our members and that aim to strengthen the Consortium’s digital health actions,” said Yves Joanette, director of the Digital Health Consortium.
