Summer decides to leave Genoa City to accept a position as artistic director in Milan. She announces this decision to her loved ones and says goodbye to them. Kyle desperately tries to convince her to stay. He is determined to save their relationship, but Summer remains steadfast.
Sally is recommended by Summer as a replacement for her position as president of Jabot Collection. She is named interim president and prepares her transition to take on this new role.

An article was published on the website “The Inquisitor”, announcing the imminent death of Ashland Locke. William and Lily are looking for information, but they get nothing from Victoria or Ashland. Victor and Adam place themselves with Ashland, in case he decides to sell the rest of his businesses. Victoria confirms to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that the article is true.
She proposed to Ashland a merger between Newman Enterprises and Locke Communications. Chloe, who has been seduced by Adam recently, visits Chelsea. Adam does the same, but Chelsea isn’t happy to see him. Ashland verbally attacks Tara, thinking that the leak came from her.

Amanda (Mishael Morgan), who recently seemed in danger, is about to visit Naya in prison, but she discovers that the latter finally forbids her from coming, following Sutton’s visit. Devon finds Victor at Society and, worried, asks him his opinion on Sutton.
Following the spread of a rumor concerning Ashland’s state of health, William arrives unexpectedly and Jack immediately makes him understand that he does not wish to broach the subject, but it is in reality Tara that William came to question. Victoria tries by all means to change Ashland’s mind and make him understand that he should perhaps take it easy, but William comes to interrupt them.
He also warns Victor about Ashland and the relationship he has with his daughter. Lily (Christel Khalil) finally receives a visit from Nina (Tricia Cast), looking for work.
