The second round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs continued last night. In one of the games, the Calgary Flames defeated the Edmonton Oilers 9: 6 to take the lead 1-0.
“Fireworks” started in the first period, when “Flames” scored two goals in the first minute of the match, thanks to Elias Lindholm and Andrew Manjapan, but already in the sixth minute after Britt Richie’s exact shots became 3: 0 in favor of the Calgary club. After these lost goals, the Oilers changed their goalkeepers and Miko Smith replaced Mike Smith. Shortly afterwards, the Edmonton unit’s deficit was reduced by Connor McDavid, but the gate was no longer in use.
In the second third, the teams did not intend to stop. The Flames threw three and the Oilers four golus. Blake Coulman did it twice as part of Flames, and Matthew Tkachuk did it once. Zek Haimen was twice nominated for the Oilers, and Evans Bouhards and Leon Draizaitl were nominated twice. In the final 20 minutes of the regular time, Edmonton hockey player Kailer Yamamoto equalized 6: 6 on the scoreboard, but later Rasmus Anderson and Tkachuk regained the Flames, who later scored a hat-trick with their throws.
In another duel, the Hurricanes of Carolina defeated the Rangers of New York with a 2: 1 extra time, which eliminated the Pittsburgh Penguins from Theodore Bluger in the previous Stanley Cup. Rangers took the lead in the middle of the first third, when Philip Hitil broke out, but two minutes and 23 seconds before the end of regular time, Sebastian Aho struck Hurricanes. Meanwhile, the victory of “Hurricanes” in the fourth minute of the extension was ensured by the defender Aiens Kouls.
