Flamengo is not giving up on renewing Everton Ribeiro for just one year. The player’s wish, who will turn 35 in April, is for a new contract for another two seasons, or one with automatic extension if he reaches goals set in advance.
The possibility of an exchange between the Rio club and Corinthians involving Thiago Maia and Fausto Vera exists. However, the red and black board does not admit to getting involved in the São Paulo club’s debt with Argentinos Juniors, which has not yet received the full amount for the sale of the 23-year-old midfielder, in 2022.
The Rio club continues with two impasses: Matías Viña and Leo Ortiz. In both cases, there is still a distance between what Roma and Red Bull Bragantino are asking for, respectively, for the release of the left-back and the defender. The talks are expected to extend into January.
