It’s easy with money, they say. Not always. But with money, it’s obviously less complicated to make something viable. The difficult becomes possible. Given this, the fact that Flamengo collects expensive signings is no longer surprising. The club’s restructuring left it isolated at this level.
But financial superiority does not translate onto the field. The just-ended season was one of failures. And embarrassments, with eliminations and several defeats suffered.
