Talks between Tite’s representatives and Flamengo directors advanced this weekend. The coach should be announced by the club by Monday.
Tite’s contract will last until the end of 2024. This is when the term of president Rodolfo Landim, elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2021, will end.
Flamengo’s investment in the coach who led the Brazilian team in the last two World Cups will be high. However, it should not come close to what Jorge Jesus cost, as speculated.
