Flamengo qualified as 2nd in Group A
The Libertadores group stage is in the last round. This Wednesday (28), Flamengo entered the field for the competition and confirmed the classification for the round of 16, being in second place in Group A. With the 4-0 victory over Aucas (EQU), Rubro- Negro reached 11 points, but was behind Racing (ARG), which added 13.
With this scenario, Flamengo will be in pot 2 of the round of 16 draw, along with the other teams that qualify in second place. In pot 1, those who pass as leaders will remain. Therefore, Fla already knows six possible opponents in the next phase: Racing (ARG), International, FluminenseArgentinian Juniors (ARG), Athletico Paranaense and Olímpia (PAR).
The last two places in Pot 1, with possible Flamengo opponents, will be defined this Thursday (29). The teams that have a chance to enter this grouping are: Bolívar (BOL), Palmeiras, Boca Juniors (ARG) and Deportivo Pereira (PER).

The draw for the round of 16 of the Libertadores has already been set by Conmebol. The event will take place next Wednesday, July 5th. It is worth mentioning that there is already a pre-definition of the field command, with the teams of pot 2 deciding away from home. Therefore, it is safe to say that Fla’s first game will be at Maracanã, regardless of the opponent.
