Flamengo performances: Vidal is the best, Santos is the worst and attack disappoints | Flamengo

Santos (GOL): He made two mistakes – on a false start from above and another in which he slammed into the opposing player’s body (the ball slipped into his hands and therefore the goal was annulled) – which could have left Del Valle with their hand in the cup. He was not to blame for the goal conceded, but it was the worst of the match. Use: 3.5.

Varela (LAD): It was good defensively, but it didn’t give an offensive option in the right corridor. Use: 5.5.

Fabricio Bruno (ZAG): He had work with the shirt number 9 Rodríguez and he managed most of the time. Use: 6.0.

David Luiz (SAW): He risked too much on the ball in some bids, but did not compromise. He got a yellow card at the end of the game. Use: 5.5.

Ayrton Lucas (LAE): He made plays from the bottom line and was dangerous in some bids. He didn’t compromise on defense. Use: 6.0.

Arrascaeta (MEI): It was ineffective and seemed to be down physically in some moments of the game. Use: 4.0.

Gabigol (ATA): Missed two goals in the first half that could change the history of the game. It was participatory, but it made a lot of mistakes. Use: 4.5.

Peter (ATA): He didn’t have a good game, but was hampered by the team’s backward posture. He put Gabi in front of the goal in the first half, but the number 10 wasted. Use: 5.0.
