The shirts are commemorative and will not be used by the football team in matches. Adidas, the club’s sports equipment supplier, also made 16 pieces personalized by artists and which will be displayed at the Gávea headquarters store. The models will be auctioned with income destined to the Mothers for Diversity Institution.

It is not the first time that Flamengo has launched commemorative shirts for social causes. Last year, the club launched a pink uniform, which was used in training, because of the pink October in the fight against breast cancer. New actions are planned for the coming months.
