Gabigol has a contract with Flamengo until December 31, 2024

RENEWAL WITH SALARY INCREASE
Although Gabigol’s contract ends with Flamengo in just 12 months, the club is already moving to negotiate a possible renewal of the contract with the attacker. According to information from Diogo Dantas, from ‘O Globo’, the attacker has some requirements to seal a new agreement with Rubro-Negro.
Among Gabigol’s requests are a 50% increase in salary, which would be R$2 million per month. Furthermore, the attacker asks for a ‘bonus’ for staying, which would be paid every six months for five years.
In other words, from 2024 to 2028, Gabigol would receive two annual installments of the bonus. Therefore, the total value of the bond extension would be 10 million euros (R$54 million at current prices). Finally, the player also asks for prizes for titles and a box at Maracanã.
