Flamencad Flamenco Cycle: A Celebration of Traditional and Contemporary Flamenco in Cádiz

This Thursday, July 20, at 10 pm, at the Baluarte de la Candelaria, the Flamencad flamenco cycle will start. A total of four days, divided into 4 thematic cycles in which the different areas of flamenco will be represented, focusing on the vindication of the stylistic formulas typical of Cádiz, the new trends in flamenco or the role of women in art. jondo.

This cycle will also present two conferences, on August 3 and 10, at 8:00 p.m., in the Patio of the ECCO Contemporary Culture Space. This Thursday the session is called “Contrasts” and will feature the presence of Capullo de Jerez on cante, Ramón Trujillo on guitar, José Rubichi and Jesús Flores on clapping and El Tripa on cajón.

For its part, El Turry will have the participation of Fermín Fernández on guitar and José Manuel el Oruco and Juan de Oruco on clapping. The show will be presented by the artist Gala Évora. In the same way, well-known artists such as Aurora Vargas, La Fabi, from Cádiz like José Anillo and Manolo Gago, or Farruquito, are some of those who will make up the following Thursdays of this cycle.
