Flag Football – Ozelots Stinatz: “Now switch to Litzelsdorf”

After a long wait, the Stinatz club is able to resume training. However, the sports field in the community is currently being renovated, “so we are now moving to Litzelsdorf,” says chairman Jan Zsifkovits, who will soon be able to gain a lot from the new terrain on the venerable meadow and thank the community for it.

The top priority is further development

“For the young players in particular, it is essential that we have a good infrastructure to practice our sport.” The training session at the sports field in Litzelsdorf took place last weekend. The players are preparing for the start of the “Flag Liga Austria 3” season, which is due to start in August. Seven teams fight for the title on four match days and the final tournament. In addition to men, women and mixed, the youth players, increasingly from the expanded “FLA” squad, will start the “Flag4Fun” season on June 5, with seven game days on the program.

The goals are relatively clearly defined, “because in ‘Flag4Fun’ the focus is on the further development of our young players and newcomers.” Even when the competition is fierce, the club wants to play in the front and make it into the play-offs. In order to start as prepared as possible, test games were also set.

On June 10th the team of A will meet Vienna Spartans away from home, at the end of June the game at the Stonefield Raptors in Wr. Neustadt, two games against the Graz Panthers and Dark Angels Vienna await in July. “In addition, our coaches George Marku and Peter Grandits are currently completing the first module to become a flag football trainer in order to be able to bring further elements into our training and game,” concluded Zsifkovits.
