FK Senica give great appreciation to one of its flagship players, A Maulana Vikri who scored a sensational goal against Thailand in the second leg final AFF Cup 2020 (2021).
In the second leg of the 2021 AFF Cup final, the Indonesian national team had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Thailand at the National Stadium, Saturday (1/1).
The two goals of the Garuda Squad were scored by Ricky Kambuaya and Egy Maulana Vikri. The draw brought Thailand to win the AFF Cup this year after winning 6-2 on aggregate.
Despite failing to win, Senica still gave a positive response to Egy Maulana and the Indonesian National Team through uploads on InstaStory. The Slovak League club has uploaded videos of Egy Maulana Vikri’s goal against Thailand several times, by embedding a PSSI account.

“We’re proud of you,” Senica said again.
Egy Maulana Vikri has only strengthened the Indonesian national team in the second leg of the AFF Cup semifinals after being released by Senica after 18 December.
In his last three appearances with the Red and White Team in the AFF Cup, Egy managed to score two goals, one goal each against Singapore and Thailand.
Egy Maulana Vikri’s goal against Thailand was one of the beautiful goals scored by Indonesia in this tournament.
Starting with Arhan’s Pratama throw which the Thai player failed to clear, Irfan Jaya then gave the ball to Witan Sulaeman which later became the breakthrough bait for Egy.
With a difficult angle from the left, Egy guarded by Theerathon Bunmathan fired a left footed shot. The ball went to the far post without being anticipated by goalkeeper Siwarak Tedsungnoen.
