Due to a national technical glitch, no travel or erroneous information was displayed on digital screens at train stations on Tuesday afternoon, NS announced via Twitter. The planner and the train company app were also “out of date”. NS has now fixed the malfunction.
The amplification system of the stations had been deactivated due to the interruption. The cause of the malfunction is not yet known, but NS quickly fixed the problems. The company says there may be “still” outdated information in some places, but this is expected to resolve in the near future.
Trains continued to run during the break. There wasn’t just up-to-date travel information to see in stations or in the app.
Travelers were advised to simply go to the station. There they could take their regular train from the usual platform.
