Bastion and Torbjorn, who have been missing from the game for some time due to a fatal bug, are back.
On the 20th, Blizzard announced the schedule and contents of the next patch via the official Overwatch website. The next patch will be on 25 and Torbjorn and Bastion, who were temporarily unavailable in competitive play due to a bug, will return. There was a bug where Bastion could fire his ultimate without delay for a certain amount of time, and Torbjorn had a bug that doubled the duration of the overload by increasing attack speed, movement speed, and reload speed. It was a very fatal bug and was fixed in about two weeks.
However, starting with this patch, the Garbage Village map will be temporarily disabled. This is because there was a bug that was causing graphics performance issues while playing the game. Other patch content has not yet been announced, but some balance changes are expected.
For reference, various bugs are continually discovered in Overwatch 2 besides Bastion and Torbjorn. In particular, a bug has been found that allows the newly added Kiriko to penetrate the map using the Sunbo ability, and there are also a number of bugs that were not found in the first episode, including Route 66. Despite several bugs, including that of competitive positioning, are solved quickly as soon as they are discovered, it is true that the login problem has not been solved, so it seems to lack completeness compared to the first part.
