The Fivers Margareten end the calendar year on Tuesday in the EHF European League with the duel away at HC Metalurg Skopje in North Macedonia (5.45 p.m., live on ORF Sport +). According to their own statements, the Viennese feel no pressure, but “if we want to survive the group stage, we should win against Skopje,” said Fivers coach Peter Eckl.
The win over Toulouse and the draw against Leon gave you the chance to survive the group stage. This requires a place in the top four and more points. “It is definitely an important game for us. The pressure from the league is now gone. We’re all focused on this game and we’re really looking forward to it. We are under no pressure, but if we want to progress we should win, ”said Eckl.
