Five youths singled out for violence at meetings against vulnerable people in Dijon – Dijon News

On Friday 23 August, five young people aged 15 and 16 were presented before a youth judge in Dijon. These young people were charged with “violence in a meeting against a vulnerable person” and placed under legal supervision. The events took place last week in Darcy’s garden, in the heart of Dijon.

According to information provided by the public prosecutor to several media, there was a kidnapping, accompanied by violence. We will not take the initiative to publish details of the violence out of respect for the victim. However, it is specified that the victim is a young boy of 14 who, although he did not suffer serious bodily harm, was kidnapped by his attackers. A legal investigation was opened for these true facts, targeting the five people involved.

These teenagers come from Dijon and other cities in the capital. The case was brought to the attention of the authorities thanks to the boy’s mother, who filed a complaint after her son told her what he had suffered.

The detectives quickly responded to the complaint, resulting in the arrest of the five suspects. Among them, at least two people already knew the police, adding a disturbing element to this issue of violence at meetings. Justice must now shed light on this attack, to do justice to the young victim.
