The families and friends of five young people in Wales are desperately searching for answers after their loved ones have not heard from them since a night on the town.

Sophie Russon, Eve Smith and Darcy Ross, all 20, are said to have been out at a bar in the port city of Newport on Friday night. In the evening, according to friends, the girls should have moved on to a nightclub in Porthcawl, approximately 40 meters by car from Newport. They are said to have gone there together with Shane Loughlin and Rafael Jeanne-Actie, who according to their families are also missing.

In an update on social media, she also writes that her sister’s purse, which contains both car keys and bank cards, is with her mother.
