The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity announced the donation on social media. A word of thanks to the singer was written with a photo of twenty colorful packages. “Thank you Ariadne! We were so excited to receive these Christmas gifts for the little patients in our hospitals.” The gifts were distributed to babies, children and teenagers at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Trafford General, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital. “It is so wonderful that Ariana has once again shown such thoughtfulness and she has made this special donation to our hospital family,” said Tanya Hamid, acting director of the charity. “We know that Manchester, and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in particular, holds a special place in Ariana’s heart.”
Five years ago, the American singer performed in Manchester. At least 22 people were killed in an attack during that concert. Grande then organized the “One Love Manchester” benefit concert, which raised money for the victims. The singer then became an honorary citizen of the city. In recent years she has given gifts to children in the hospital at Christmas time.
