Five people were named as suspects in the case the murder of the Subang mother and child, West Java. One of them was Yosep, who was the victim’s husband and father.
Two suspects have now been detained. They are Yosep and M Ramdanu, who are the victim’s nephew and cousin.
“We are currently detaining two people, namely YH (Yosep) and MR (M Ramdanu alias Danu),” said the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the West Java Regional Police, Kombes Surawan, when asked for confirmation by media crew at the West Java Regional Police, Wednesday (18/10/2023).
The five suspects named by the police are Danu, Yosep, Mimin, Arighi Reksa Pratama, and Abi. Mimin is known to be Yosep’s young wife, while Arighi and Abi are Yosep’s stepchildren.
The five were named suspects after investigators received strong clues regarding their involvement. Surawan confirmed that investigators were still investigating the involvement of the five to uncover the motive for the murder case.
“We are still investigating the suspect’s motive, we are still collecting other evidence, then looking for evidence of the murder,” he said.
