A traffic accident involving four cars occurred on the morning of December 23. This was reported to the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.
A 46-year-old resident of Grodno was driving a Volkswagen car and driving along the P44 highway (Grodno – Ruzhany – Ivatsevichi). According to preliminary information, at the 103rd km he overtook a Scania cargo truck. But overtaking led to a head-on collision between a Volkswagen and a Mitsubishi driven by a 51-year-old resident of the Pruzhany district, then the Volkswagen collided with a Scania, and a passing Peugeot collided with the Mitsubishi, reports Onliner.
As a result of the incident, the driver, 52-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi, 36-year-old, 15-year-old, 9-year-old Volkswagen passengers were hospitalized. All circumstances of the accident are being clarified.
