A special police operation to fight crime, protect public order, ensure road safety and prevent crimes related to the political rights of citizens was carried out today on the territory of the ODMVR – Pernik.
Criminal, Economic, Security Police Forces and personnel of the Gendarmerie Directorate participated in the operation.
Police actions were aimed at dangerous objects and people who committed or committed crimes, as well as those who have the resources to influence the vote of citizens. Major investigations were carried out under the Law on Civil Registration.
During the operation, commercial and entertainment centers, fast credit companies, ferrous and non-ferrous metal points and several people and vehicles were searched.
For participation in crimes already committed and for the possession of narcotic substances, five people were detained, and a 24-hour police measure was imposed on them. 2 pre-trials and 2 fast cases were established. 195 motor vehicles and 330 people were checked and 16 acts under the Civil Registration Act, 23 acts and 81 leaflets under the Road Traffic Act, 6 leaflets under the Bulgarian Personal Documents Act and 34 protocols under Art. 64 and 65 of the Law on the Interior, of which 9 relate to the electoral process. 37 people from the active criminal group were investigated and arrested. Police officers searched 9 shops, 10 collections of criminal groups, 23 commercial and entertainment centers, 3 points for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and 2 car morgues. 12 bottles of alcohol with an expired label and a number of goods sold without the permission of the holder of the exclusive right were seized.
