According to the statistics of the Ministry of the Interior, as regards the registrations of new cars in our country, in the last year there has been a market growth of just over 7 percent compared to the previous year 2021.
The most interesting thing, however, is that the long-standing leader in this peculiar ranking, Dacia, already occupies the second position. Of the ten best-selling new car models, five of us are the work of Renault and Dacia, represented in Bulgaria by an importer.
However, the first position goes to the Japanese from Toyota. It’s all about their Corolla model, of which 1239 new cars were sold last year. Second and third position for the Dacia, Duster and Sandero models, which also boast over 1,000 sales on an annual basis.
The five are completed by Renault Clio and Citroen C3. Toyota C-HR, Kia Sportage, Renault Master, Renault Megane and Skoda Octavia follow. All of them sold cars in the range of 500 to 900 cars. In 2022, a total of 33,500 new cars will be registered in our country.
