The Hospital de Santiago de Úbeda and the Church of San Lorenzo, host the exhibition project ‘5 Jotas’, which shows more than a hundred works by five of the artists most recognized contemporaries of Jaen: Aurelio Rodríguez, Miguel Ángel Belinchón ‘Belin’, José Fernández Ríos, Paco Montañés and Santiago Ydáñez.
In the exhibition located in the Hospital de Santiago, you will be able to see the creations of the first four, and the chapel of the Church of San Lorenzo, in which the works of Ydáñez will be accommodated, will host this joint exhibition until October 22.
The Diputación and the City Council of Úbeda, with the collaboration of the Huerta de San Antonio Foundation, are behind this sample that for the president of the Provincial Council, Francisco Reyes, “is a luxury and a good thing that it has been possible and that it will offer locals and people who visit this city a unique opportunity to enjoy the talent and genius of these great artists who have the ‘J’ of Jaén printed in their biographies “.
The president of the provincial administration wanted to congratulate the Ubeta City Council for this “by betting on this exhibition, which we have also supported from the Provincial Council.” Along these lines, he stressed that the municipality “is undoubtedly one of the main cultural engines of our land, since some of the most important proposals and events held in the province of Jaén take place in its streets and scenic spaces. to which this exhibition is now added, which contributes to further enrich the cultural life of the people of Ubeda and also of all the people of Jaén, who will find in this exhibition one more reason to visit Úbeda “.
