In Nîmes, the BIC Innov’up incubator, an incubator for innovative companies managed by the Gard Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has welcomed five new companies since February 23. The latter will benefit from advice, specialized workshops, various activities and accommodation in the La Station coworking space (24 offices). Among them, Christophe Dufour, director of the company Biopulz which develops the Eolane technology. “This is the first European automaton for environmental disinfection of critical areas, such as clean rooms in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries, operating theaters or contaminated patient rooms, using intense light technology. pulsed”, explains Christophe Dufour.
The latter wishes, among other things, to be accompanied and benefit from exchanges “in the financing of a safety stock (machines or critical components), for requests for financing by investment funds, and in the context of the protection intellectual,” he explains. Sébastien Calvez, co-designer of the Calice wine aerator, is also joining the incubator with his Bibcool device. The latter aims to facilitate the service of bag-in-boxes, these packages consisting of a cardboard box and a pocket with a tap.
Wine sector and short circuits
Another company recently incubated within BIC Innov’up: Bacchustorm (Domazan), co-founded by Janyce Franc and Christophe Puisnel in 2022 and “specialized in the decontamination by pulsed light of barrels and stainless steel tanks for the wine estate”. 4B Premium, chaired by Cyril Chesnel, intends to improve brain capacity via an application. The application aims in particular to help children with learning difficulties by improving their motivation or concentration. Finally, Les Kiosques Paysans, co-founded by Pierre Guillery and Bruno Bonnefoy, aims to facilitate access to local products for consumers by distributing local agricultural products, fresh or processed. “We want to become a real distribution channel to improve agricultural incomes”, projects the company on its website. Created in 1988, BIC Innov’Up is chaired by Jacques-Thierry Monti and directed by Antoine Houssin.
