Five islands in the Azores with orange warning due to precipitation

The five islands in the center of the Azores group will be under an orange warning until midnight due to precipitation, while the islands in the Western and Eastern groups will be under a yellow warning, IPMA said today.

According to the Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere in Portugal (IPMA), the orange warning for the central group (Terceira, Graciosa, São Jorge, Pico and Faial) due to sometimes heavy precipitation will be in force until 00:00 local time (1 ). : 00 in Lisbon ), changing to a yellow warning until 3 a.m. Monday.

These five islands will also be under a yellow warning due to wind from 9pm today until 6am on Monday.

For the Eastern group, which consists of the islands of São Miguel and Santa Maria, the IPMA issued yellow warnings due to rain (until 6 a.m. Monday), wind and sea swell (both in effective until 12pm Monday).

The yellow warning for the islands of the Western group (Flores and Corvo) will be in place until 9pm today due to rain.
