Five people were injured in a traffic accident on the N279 near Berlicum in North Brabant. Among them are two children. A man had to be extricated from his car by firefighters.
Two cars were involved in the accident. What exactly happened is still under investigation. One of the two cars ended up on the road upside down. The other vehicle sustained extensive damage.
According to Broadcasting Brabant the two cars are believed to have hit each other hundreds of meters before coming to a stop.
Emergency services deployed four ambulances and several fire trucks to the scene of the accident. An air ambulance also landed there.
