1.Yoga

Yoga doesn’t require you to spend a lot of time to enjoy its benefits. Even a 20-minute yoga session can improve your well-being.

2. Gardening

You can also indulge in gardening to improve your brain health. Focusing on the details of gardening can help you feel better and reduce negative thoughts, which has a longer lasting effect.

People who garden say they feel more relaxed and content.

3. Dance

According to a 2003 study published in New England Journal of Medicine, dancing can delay the onset of dementia. Dancing is a kind of mental exercise that strengthens memory and makes it easier for the brain to retain information.

4. Walk

The best thing about walking is that it helps you improve your mental performance as well as being good for your physical health. Spend at least 20-25 minutes each day jogging, walking, or brisk walking. You can walk while doing housework, go to the nearest grocery store, or just in the garden or on the terrace. It helps oxygenate the brain, increase energy, and improve mood and cognitive function.

5. Taichi

Tai Chi is a workout that consists of a sequence of slow, steady movements combined with deep breathing. This technique, also known as “moving meditation,” improves coordination and is beneficial to both physical and mental health. The fact that tai chi reduces stress is another reason it is helpful in reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s.
