The data to which the PUBLIC had access were presented this Wednesday, at the Infarmed meeting, and refer to the 7th of July. On that day, in the region of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley, 9123 covid patients were under public health surveillance. Of these, about 61% are in the five municipalities most affected by the pandemic: Lisbon, Sintra, Amadora, Loures and Odivelas. Despite continuing to be the municipalities with the most positive cases in the region, experts point out the existence of an “apparent decreasing pattern of the disease”.
