Meteorologists set temperature records in five towns in eastern Bulgaria on Saturday.
In Razgrad, they measured 20.1 degrees, up from the previous record of 18.8 degrees in 1950.
In Shumen – 19.5 degrees, previous record – 18.5 in 1950, in Dobrich – 17.8, previous record – 17.5 in 1950 and in Burgas – 20.0 degrees with previous record – 18.4 in 1944, has reported Radio Varna.
After 14:00, the temperature in Varna reached 19.6 degrees, 2 tenths above the previous record set on December 10.
