A coronavirus infection was found in several children in the Gutschick school building in Winterthur last week. Two primary school classes had to be quarantined. In order to stop the spread of the virus, the district school maintenance organization Seen – Mattenbach ordered a mass test with all pupils of the primary school as well as with the caregivers.
The test results that are available to RADIO TOP came on Thursday. Of the total of 125 children tested, 5 tested positive for Covid-19. There were an equal number of adults, with only 52 tests being carried out.
Because of the outbreak, 58 students, a total of three school classes, and four adults have to be in quarantine. No information is yet available on how to proceed.
